As a city with deep historical roots, Vancouver's identity is intertwined with its rich history. While these roots became the foundation of our city's success, we have outgrown our past identity and developed into a much more complex and diverse community. Our interns designed this museum and cultural center to create a place where we can come together to share and discuss our current challenges and successes as we frame Vancouver's modern identity. The Social Historic Center aims to establish a gathering place where we can honor our past, celebrate who we are today, and explore what our future might hold.
